    How the transaction went: It went easily mostly because I had to send it in. Obviously from where I live it would take a while but that is the only thing. I would greatly recommend this if you live nearby but it is better because of the prices anyway!

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: The console was repaired and fully tested before it was shipped back! There have been no problems since then either!

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: The pace. My xbox 360 console was stuck on a certain phase (that I wouldn't think would take that long) for a little while.

    How the transaction went: Great work, Great prices, and knowledgeable workers.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Showed up as a walk in and got taken care of quickly. The expedite option was great to have for a minimal cost. Once system got repaired I received a call about another issue. Even with the new problem the price was still better then other places. The system was still repaired the same day. They tested the system to make sure everything is working and will function once you take it home.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I bigger sign on the building. I was not sure if I was at the correct place at first.

    How the transaction went: Very well. They confirmed what my problem was within a few minutes and gave me a good repair timetable.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I would not update consoles as part of the repair process. My friend had a console upgraded and lost access to his Linux partition as an irreversible result.

    How the transaction went: Phenomenal company. I am extremely pleased with every visit I've made to Wired Extreme. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. Best of all, they're local! You don't have to send off your console that may or may not be fixed due to some catch in the warranty (that's happened to me before, twice). They also offer various other services, like trade-ins and repairs I haven't found anywhere else.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: They are friendly and offer a large variety of services. I also don't have to send off my consoles to be fixed.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I've found some quirks with the website, like being unable to fill out a repair ticket for a console because the website already has it listed as "Repaired". But service-wise, I am extremely pleased.

    How the transaction went: The transaction was smooth and pleasant. I recieved excellent customer service on the phone, and via emails. The communication was excellent with constant email updates each time something changed with the status of my console.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: The professionalism and the speed. The price was great too. Round trip shipping being included in the quoted price was a major plus.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: It took a few days and switch of techs for them to get to my console, but considering the new xbox tear down they were in the process of making, and other circumstances, it was perfectly understandable. Except me wishing they had sent some business cards to give out and leave at local electronics stores, I wouldn't change a thing. Top rate job at a bargain basement price.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: I like for the fact that they have an express service option. And they they arent under staffed. The most important thing is that they are gamers which makes it all better.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Nothing at all just that, They should put a sign on top of the building. lol it will certainly help.. Their business can grow even more. if they continue giving the kind of service they are.

    How the transaction went: Well, got my PS3 back, and it works great, no doubt about that, very pleased. Just, the customer reps. on the phone are horrible. I told the guy on the phone my PS3 was in perfect condition before I sent it. When I checked on my unit status online he had it listed that it contained lights scratches on casing. So I called to correct that. I also called a woman at wired extreme and told her I packaged the original PS3 box inside of another box, because I didn't have anything to really secure the PS3 for packing. I said, "I understand we are just to send the unit. Should I repack it?, because I would like the box back, and I'm willing to pay a few extra dollars to do so". She said, "no, we usually just send the unit back, but I'll make a note to have the box sent back and extra payment wasn't necessary." I didn't hear her type anything, so I called back a couple days later, at the time I corrected the casing status. I could hear him typing the correction of the unit status, but when I told him I spoke to a woman about sending the PS3 box back, to make sure a note was made(which it wasn't), he told me exactly what she said and no extra payment was necessary, and that HE had now made a note, yet I didn't hear HIM type anything, so I figured I wouldn't get it back. Sure enough, when the fedex box came, only the PS3 unit was in it.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Reasonable pricing and additional warranty available after limited warranty is up.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: When you call a company for any reason, and the representatives tell you they are going to make a note of something, they should do it, especially if they assure you there is no issue, not go against their word, no matter what.

    How the transaction went: The initial transaction went great, placed repair order over the phone and shipped package out the same day. It did take them a lot longer then i had hoped but what can i do about that. Shipped it out June 14th, Receiving it back July 13th. So to me thats a little to long. The communication could of been a little better with contacting me with the little problems that arose. My Xbox needed to be re-balled. After i called once a week i found out it couldn't be repaired so i was given a Refurbished unit for 15$ extra. Overall i am pleased.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: 1.Better Updating System Online 2. Customer Service could be more friendly instead of pushing me away. 3. Called on a Wed. and was told my unit was 3rd in line for repair and it would be done that Friday. I called back the following week and was told they haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Could be a little more honest with their time frames, be upfront and i can understand and not care about how long it might take.

    How the transaction went: Everything was pretty straight forward. I dropped off my PS3, they tested it in front of me and reassured me that it could be fixed. And when I picked it up they also tested it to show me that it was working properly.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: They don't make things complicated. I was not at home when my PS3 was ready for pick-up, so I did not have the form I had filled out with me nor the box to put a console in and they still made arrangements so that I could retrieve it that same day without those items. They even provided me with a spare box to put my console in.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: When I dropped off my console they told me it would take between 4 to 5 days at most to get it fixed maybe even less, but it took them 8 days to have it repaired. Still it was a minor thing considering how everything else went. I would definitely encourage them to make it easier to spot the store (put on a bigger sign)) or put a picture of the outside so that people know what they should be looking for. Hint: if you are on Main St and you passed a church you went too far.

    How the transaction went: Very fast. I had my unit shipped off and back within 1 week. I also appreciated the call to let me know my repairs were complete.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Timely repairs and I love the fact that I was offered a warranty.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: The initial customer service rep on the phone did not seem to know much about the process and couldnt answer simple questions without having to go and ask someone. Every other person I spoke with after the initial call seemed very competent and knew what they were talking about. Maybe the first girl I spoke with was new or something?

    How the transaction went: Over all great, excellent customer service. Techs deemed my PS3 unrepairable and was given the choice to purchase a refurbished PS3 at an unbeatable price with the option of up to a four year warranty.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Prompt service it only took two weeks to resolve my PS3 issues and I was up and gaming again. Wired Extreme gives the consumer the support and loyalty that SONY Computer Entertainment should be offering to all their customers.

    How the transaction went: Awesome. Mailed my PS3 from Arlington to save gas and had it back and repaired in a week. Very quick service.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Linking to the FedEx tracking service was a big plus for me.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: The people on the phone were really nice, but it was sometimes really hard to hear them. It sounded like the phone itself just had a bad connection whenever I called. Otherwise great service.

    How the transaction went: Transaction went really smooth. Paid with paypal and had no problems at all. Only problem I had was with recieving the shipping label for my package. Something seemed wrong with my email but I ended up getting my shipping label by the end of the day.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: I like the fast feekback and customer support. When my shipping label was having problems coming through to my email. I always got fast service through the live chat online option. Customer Service were always patient and willing to resend emails to my email to see if I recieved the shipping label. The time was great too, it only took about a week to send in, fix, and get back. took about four days to send in, where it took about 2-3 days to fix and test multiple times. Then it took three days to get back to me all the way in florida. Ps3 works great and there's nothing wrong with it. If you're at all skeptical about sending in ur equipment to wired theres no need to be. At first I didn't deem it safe but after a lot of research I sent it in and everything went smoothly

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Maybe add a more detailed explanation of what's wrong with them systm and what your doing. Like on everyone's account under unit status, make it so we can view and acknowledge what's wrong with our system so we better understand things. Everything was great!!

    How the transaction went: The transaction went very smooth, and the customer service rep was very helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns. Thank you.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Price, 90 day warranty and the ability to extend the warranty at the end of that 90 day period (especially with the nature of YLOD), customer service was all HUMAN based and not AUTOMATED phone service (it was always quick and easy to get someone on the phone to help)

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Please include ship times when quoting repair times. I was under the impression the whole process would take 1 1/2 - 2 weeks which sounded unreasonable considering I'm located in San Diego and not Texas. The whole repair actually took 3 weeks 1 day all ship times included. ......From the time Wired Extreme received my PS3 to the time it reached my door step repaired = 2 weeks 3 days - Still pretty good job!... either way just realize you can go to Best Buy and buy a PS3 (to borrow during the repair). There are no restocking fees added when returned, just don't forget to transfer data to your original PS3 and wipe it clean.

    How the transaction went: My past experiences with Wired Extreme were "dissatisfaction". I've been to the shop a total of 6 times and have not got a working X Box console yet. My X Box was probably in their shop more time than I've gotten to play it.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: The thing that i like most about Wired Extreme is that it is never a problem to send in a defective console. You guys are always willing to take it back and inspect it for any issues.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I would change the quality of work performed on the consoles. I've had a poor experience with all the replacement consoles and repairs I've had to go through.

    How the transaction went: It was fast and easy. All employees that I dealt with were professional and friendly. They made sure I was aware of my options both before and after I scheduled my repair with them.

    How the transaction went: The transaction went very well. They seemed like a small business that is willing to work hard. My calls were answered about 70% of the time, but if I left a messege they would call me back 100% of the time. I'd rather deal with that than some automated answer answering service. Even though the have a status checker on their site, I called pretty often to check on the status of my unit. Being able to call and talk to someone suprisingly put me more at ease.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: They sounded very personable. And even though they are professionals at what they do, they were not rude or being jerks. And oh yes the prices for what they offer are the best I've found!

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: The only thing that bothered me was when I received my playstation. It looked like it was worked on by a machine. Which is fine because I'm happy it works. But it wasn't the condition I sent it in condition. I'm having to wipe/buff out some blimishes just to get its shine back... It sounds picky, I know, but it is something to consider. The one thing that would put the icing on the cake for this company, is the packaging. They did an excellent job wrapping it in a way that my system wouldn't be damaged. But when it showed up, I remember thinking, "It would come off really proffesional if they had their own customized shipping boxes with their company colors and logo. But then again, FedEx did just leave it at my doorstep, so it was probably best that the box didn't look important."

    How the transaction went: Outstanding. It was ideal for me because they are located about 15 minutes from my house and have great hours where I was able to go after work. They diagnosed my Wii's problem quickly, gave me an accurate quote and had it fixed by the next evening for about $15 less and two weeks earlier than it would have been fixed if I'd sent it in to Nintendo.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Location and service. They were professional and friendly and got it fixed quickly.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Would prefer a one year warranty with repair, but they do give 90 days and there is an option to buy a longer warranty with them.

    How the transaction went: The transaction was smooth, no complaints with the service itself. My only complaint is the wait time for my unit to be worked on. I can understand a back log of requests, and having to wait my turn for repair; however knowing how long that repair line was, and when I could expect to have my ps3 tested, repaired, and shipped out again would have been better.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: I like the website layout, and how simple and secure it was to send out a request for repair, speak with a store representative about the costs and options. I felt reasonably sure that everything was handled professionally, and well ordered.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Only add a feature that would inform me of how long my request would take to complete, once the broken console was received and processed.

    How the transaction went: The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed my Wii and XBox 360 quickly and at a low cost.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: They are local to me, have fast service, and inexpensive. Cost around the price of 2 games to turn my 2 useless boxes back into gaming machines!

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I wouldn't change a thing. They were axactly what I was looking for.

    How the transaction went: Everything was perfect. From researching the issue on my son's Wii unit, I already had an idea of the issue. Second, I researched repair companies within my area and consistently found that Wired Extreme received very positive feedback, so I thought I'd give them a try...great decision!

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: The ability to bring the unit in anytime without having to make an appointment. The staff was great, they took time to immediately do a quick test on the unit in my presence, set up my account in the system, and provided the assurance they would be in contact soon as to the issue and status. The status updates were perfect, I always knew at what point in the repair process they were. When the unit was ready for pickup, they hooked it up, showed that it was in working order and provided a quick explanation to what the problem was.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I think other than what other reviewers have commented on as to outside signage for the store, I can't think of anything to add. The operation as it is seems to be a smooth operating machine.

    How the transaction went: Still in the process, not so smooth. I've sent my 3rd Xbox this time, last 2 times was great. Now it's different , seems they have to gain control of the work flow. Why do I say this?? For one, there's consoles, computers, iphones, psp's etc all over the place. Theyre taken apart and I wouldnt want my stuff out where a child or jerk could easily get to motherboards etc. Another issue, good luck getting someone on the phone. I'm about 1 for 10 when trying to get someone on the phone. But worst thing, I dropped off my console mid January , walked in mid March, and said" Oh, what great timing , seems your console is going to be next to go on the bench" . Took 2 moths to get on the bench I asked?! She started telling me the process of a D-ball and how time consuming it is. Well maybe, but I guess she didnt know I was told it was going on the bench over 2 weeks ago. My Xbox is modded, I own 3 , only that one is modded. I asked if they could please not udate it and keep it that way as it's the only reason I'm having it repaired. They told me long ago "Depends if the D-Boll is going to fix the problem or not" . I will be upset if I get it back without the mod, if it's not their fault ...then someone let me know what's going on,,please! Everyone is nice, but when you know my consoles been there for 2 months, with nothing being done and I walk in...dont send the girl out to give me the Dboll story, come tell me your busy, or someone's been out sick or whatever, just come tell me. So 3 out of 5 this time. They have every oppurtunity to turn this around though, lets see if in fact my console was put on the bench after a couple months. Let me know guys.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: When they were able to handle the number of consoles or jobs on hand. That was great. Employees are nice. Prices are reasonable.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Someone needs to pick up that phone. Turn around time could be very much improved. If you have that many consoles....great , tha's because youve had alot of refferals. You may not have as many for these long turnarounds. Maybe more techs, longer hours. Maybe keep exposed electronics out of reach from walk in customers. I wouldnt want my stuff open and exposed to children's sticky fingers, bugs, dust etc.

    How the transaction went: The transaction went very well. I was told when I dropped off my son's ps3 that it would take 3 or 4 days to change out the hard drive. He ran out of memory , because we have one of the first ps3 that came out and it only had 20 g's on it. Some of the games that he likes to play take up a lot of memory, so we needed to add a new hard drive. I didn't really want to mess with it myself for fearing I would mess something up. Mr. Dillion himself quoted me $25.00 and I thought that sounded like a steal. So I dropped it off and it was done the very next day. That $25.00 was well spent. It saved me days of headache and frustration from having to backup, download updates, install and reboot. Thank you Wired Extreme. This is the 2nd time I've used them. They also repaired my Xbox when my son kept getting "disc read error" on all his games. Come to find out he had been turning it off incorrectly and not powering down first. I have to admit it is quite a drive for me, but well worth it. Thinking of taking my computer to them next.

    What they liked most about Wired Extreme: Mr. Dillon was very nice and did the work effeciently and expediently. Would highly recommend him to anyone. And sometimes, Mr. Dillon even answers the phone himself. I would suggest talking with Mr. Dillon personally if at all possible.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: Location, location, location. Good reviews equal more business equal more money could = better location or maybe at least more advertising and bigger signs. And maybe more knowlegeable front desk help. One of the websites said if I mention "Yelp" , and I did, that I would get $5.00 off and when I gave her my credit card she processed the ticket. Then as I began to sign my charge slip, there was no credit . When I asked her about it she said she didn't know how to do that on her computer. But would most definitely still do business with them over and over again.

    How the transaction went: I've had my ps3 under warranty for about a year, and by now it wouldn't read any Blu-ray discs. I brought it in for an inspection of the problem, and they said that it would be the laser. Very friendly staff, as they let me know right away when I can expect my PS3 back. When they didn't have it ready, they contacted me right away. Once I walked back in for pick up, they let me know that it was still covered, and I didn't have to worry about compensation.

    How the transaction went: Transaction went smoothly, very well explained. Very professional and well spoken. My PS3 was given to them in a broken state, Sony wanted to charge about double to fix. In the end my PS3 works no issues at all for half the price of Sony's charge. I will be doing business again if my Xbox or Wii breaks in the future.

    How the transaction went: It took 5 weeks to get my PS3 fixed. Wiredextreme left me a voicemail when it was received, and I was told that it should be shipped out within 1 1/2 weeks. I tried to call, send numerous emails, tried the online chat, etc, but still had NO luck getting someone to respond back to me. A person shouldn't have to try that hard to get a reply from a company. 4 weeks after your company received my PS3, I finally got an email from you saying it would be shipped that day, but 4 days later I received the shipping details showing that it had finally shipped. I've referred so many friends/acquaintances to your company and sure hope they don't get frustrated like I have because I don't want them thinking I've lied to them. A year ago your service was the best. That's part of the reason why I purchased the 4 year extended warranty. I don't know if your company is short on worker help, but I just wanted to make you aware of some things and hope your communication with people can be improved.

    How the transaction went: I have an older backwards compatible PS3 model that is prone to overheating issues no matter what precautions are taken. I purchased a two year extended warranty from Wired Extreme that has been a lifesaver. Wired Extreme has worked on the unit a few times while under warranty and are always responsive and do an exceptional job. I definitely recommend taking advantage of their extended warranty service if you have an older generation system.

    What they would change about Wired Extreme: I would recommend fixing the building sign. It is easy to miss your location for local first time customers. I would also offer an premium warranty package that offers "Rush Service" included. Having a system under extended warranty and having to wait 2+ weeks to get your system back is a disappointment.

    How the transaction went: Transaction could not have been better! I will use this company again and refer them. I like how up front they are and do not confuse or try to mislead you in anyway. My PS3 is back up and running as good as new because of these guys.

They explained what they thought might be the problem, how long it would take, and options if I chose not to have it fixed or they were unable to fix it. They were timely in their repair of my PS3. The price was extremely reasonable! I need to bring a 360 in with the lovely "red ring of death".
