
Wired Extreme's Terms and Policies

Condfidentiality:
I understand that Wired Extreme will not share any of my information with anyone outside of Wired Extreme. The only exception will be the local law enforcement, if necessary.
Disclaimers:
I Understand that:
- there is a $20.00 non-refundable fee for every system which is covered in the initial repair costs that I have paid or will be paying.
- any rush fee (expedited service fee) is non-refundable and valid only one time. If my system fails again and was previously expedited, I will be subject to additional charges if I wish to expedite the repair services again as this fee simply moves my repair to the front of the Wired Extreme service queue.
- additional parts may be needed to finish the repair. At this time, it is Wired Extreme's responsibility to notify me of these costs.
- the estimated time of repair for my system is subject to change.
- if evidence of abuse or tampering is found, my warranty is void.
- I will only be eligible for a refund if the system is unrepairable the initial time it is brought in.
Warranties:
I understand that:
- every initial repair comes with a 90 day full coverage warranty.
- none of the warranty coverages will cover surges, damage to ports, liquid damage, physical abuse and/or insect infestation.
- there is a chance that my system can fail again.
- if my console fails within its warranty and I fail to contact Wired Extreme before the warranty expires, my system will not be covered and will be subject to normal cost.
- my warranty does not cover any shipping costs.
- extended warranties are available for purchase.
- insect infestation is not covered under Wired Extreme's warranty and if my system is infested, I will be subject to an additional fee.
- if I sell my system, it is my responsibility to contact Wired Extreme with the new customer's information or the warranty is void.
Abandoned Systems:
I understand that:
- if my unit is left at Wired Extreme for longer than 21 calendar days, after I have been notified that it is ready, I will be charged a storage fee of $1.00 per day up to 21 more calendar days. If the unit has still not been picked up, it will be deemed as abandoned and no longer available to be picked up.
- Wired Extreme is not responsible for retaining my original system after it has been abandoned.
Shipping:
I understand that:
- it is my responsibility to notify Wired Extreme if I would like to purchase insurance on my package prior to shipping.
- it is my responsibility to properly package my system and that Wired Extreme will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping to Wired Extreme.
- if there has been any change to my address during the repair process of my system, it is my responsibility to contact Wired Extreme immediately. I may be subject to additional charges if a system must be reshipped to a new address due to shipping costs changing.
- Wired Extreme will not be held responsible for any lost packages.
- if within 15 business days of receiving my system and I have notified Wired Extreme within those 15 days that my system has failed, shipping will be provided to me at no cost.
Exchanges:
I understand that:
- if my system fails after a warranty repair for the same issue, I have the option to get an exchange or receive a refund.
- if I qualify for an exchange, the previous amount paid for the repair will be used as credit towards the exchange price minus the $20.00 non-refundable fee originally paid for.
- if I qualify for an exchange and choose to do so, I will receive $25.00 for my broken system and it will then become property of Wired Extreme.
- all exchanges come with a (6) month warranty unless an extended warranty is purchased. If an extended warranty already exists, it will be transferred to the exchanged system.
- all exchanges are final and Wired Extreme is not responsible for retaining my original system after approving an exchange.
- the estimated time frame which I am given for receiving an exchange is subject to change.
- if my exchanged unit is left at Wired Extreme for longer than 21 calendar days, after I have been notified that it is ready, I will be charged a storage fee of $1.00 per day up to 21 more calendar days. If the unit has still not been picked up, it will be deemed as abandoned and no longer available to be picked up.
